Lori Berman

Lori Berman is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Florida State Senate, representing parts of central Palm Beach County. First elected to the Senate in a 2018 special election, she previously served four terms in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. An attorney by profession, Berman has been a prominent advocate for progressive policies, including gun control legislation and the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment. In April 2025, she was unanimously elected as the minority leader of the Florida Senate Democratic caucus.
