Lori Sigurdson

Lori Sigurdson is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the electoral district of Edmonton-Riverview. First elected in 2015, she has held several cabinet positions, including Minister of Advanced Education, Minister of Labour, and Minister of Seniors and Housing. Before entering politics, she had a 25-year career as a social worker, mental health therapist, and instructor at various post-secondary institutions. She currently serves as an Official Opposition critic for Seniors Issues, Continuing Care, and Homecare.
