Trent Wotherspoon

Trent Wotherspoon is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan for the constituency of Regina Rosemont. First elected in 2007, he has held various roles within the Saskatchewan New Democratic Party, including serving as interim leader and Leader of the Opposition from 2016 to 2017. Throughout his legislative career, he has acted as a critic for numerous portfolios, including Finance, Education, and Agriculture, and currently chairs the Public Accounts Committee. Before entering politics, he worked in the education sector, developing vocational programs for youth and high-risk offenders.
