Lothar Mulch is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Hesse, representing the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. Born in Solms in 1961, he completed his Abitur at the Goetheschule Wetzlar in 1980 and previously worked as an insurance employee and office manager. Mulch entered politics in 2015, serving in the Lahn-Dill district council since 2016 and the Wetzlar city council since 2021. He assumed his seat in the Hessian state parliament on January 18, 2024, where he serves on the committees for cultural policy, science and culture, and the Hessian State Monument Council.
