Louise Sandher-Jones is a British Labour Party politician serving as the Member of Parliament for North East Derbyshire since 2024. In September 2025, she was appointed as the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Veterans and People within the Ministry of Defence. Before entering national politics, she served as a councillor on Charnwood Borough Council and had a distinguished career as an Intelligence Corps officer in the British Army, followed by a role as a senior manager at McKenzie Intelligence Services. She is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh, where she studied Chinese.
