Luis Alfonso Escobar

Luis Alfonso Escobar Jaramillo is a Colombian economist and politician currently serving as the Governor of Nariño, a position he assumed on January 1, 2024. An expert in environmental economics, he previously held academic roles at the Universidad del Valle and served as the Secretary of Planning for Nariño.
