Luise Amtsberg

Luise Amtsberg is a German politician representing the constituency of Kiel in the Bundestag. A member of Alliance 90/The Greens, she has served in the federal parliament since 2013 and previously held a seat in the State Parliament of Schleswig-Holstein from 2009 to 2012. Between 2022 and 2025, she served as the Federal Government Commissioner for Human Rights Policy and Humanitarian Assistance. Her political career has focused heavily on migration, integration, and human rights advocacy, including extensive work with parliamentary friendship groups in the Middle East and North Africa.
