A graduate in political science from the University of Silesia, he previously worked in social and market research as well as the municipal and water supply customer service sector. He served as a city councillor in Piekary Śląskie from 2010 to 2023, where he also led the Education, Culture, and Sports Commission before being elected to the national parliament in 2023.
