Lumír Macura

Lumír Macura is a Czech politician and economist who has served as the Mayor of Bohumín since February 2025. Prior to his current role, he was a long-serving deputy mayor of the city from 2010 to 2025. An economist by training, Macura has been active in local municipal government since 2003, previously working as the head of the municipal office's organizational department. He is also known for his contributions to local tourism as an author of kayaking guides and remains an active participant in regional community initiatives.
