Mae Flexer is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Connecticut State Senate, representing the 29th district. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served three terms in the Connecticut House of Representatives representing the 44th assembly district. A native of Killingly, Connecticut, Flexer began her political involvement early, becoming a town committee chairwoman at age 23. She previously worked as a legislative aide for Connecticut Senate President Donald E. Williams Jr. before winning her first election to the state legislature in 2008.
