Patrick Clay Flannery is an American politician serving as a Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives for the 96th district since 2021. A lawyer by profession, he previously served as the Carter County Attorney. Following a 2022 diagnosis of stage 3 testicular cancer, Flannery became a prominent advocate for cancer awareness and successfully sponsored legislation requiring health insurance coverage for reproductive preservation in urological cancer cases. He continues to serve in the state legislature, representing Carter and Lewis counties along with parts of Boyd County.
