Seong-gyu Maeng is a South Korean politician and former bureaucrat currently serving as a three-term member of the National Assembly for the Namdong-gu Gap constituency in Incheon. A career civil servant, he held various high-level positions within the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, including serving as the Second Vice Minister from 2017 to 2018. He also served as the Economic Vice Governor of Gangwon Province. Since entering the National Assembly in 2018, he has focused on transportation, land, and budget policy, currently chairing the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee in the 22nd National Assembly.
