A prominent figure on the Polish left, she has been a vocal advocate for civil society, citizen participation, and reproductive rights. Biejat previously co-led the Left Together party and has been involved in various non-governmental organizations, including the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights. In 2025, she was a candidate for the presidency of Poland.
