Magdalena Komes is a Croatian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Petrinja, a position she has held since 2021 and was re-elected to in 2025. A member of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), she also serves as a Member of the Croatian Parliament, having assumed her mandate in 2024. Before her mayoral tenure, she worked as the director of a home for the elderly and infirm and served as the president of the Petrinja City Council. She holds a Master of Law degree from the University of Zagreb.
