Andrej Plenković

Andrej Plenković is a Croatian politician who has served as the Prime Minister of Croatia since 2016. A member of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), he has led the party toward the political center and oversaw Croatia's integration into the Eurozone and Schengen Area. Before his premiership, he served as a member of the European Parliament and held various diplomatic roles within the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Plenković is recognized as the longest-serving Prime Minister in Croatian history, having led multiple coalition governments through significant challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic and major seismic events.
