Mahmut Dindar

Mahmut Dindar is a Turkish politician and trade unionist currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly for Van. Born in Daldere, Gevaş, he spent 29 years working at the Erciş Sugar Factory, where he held leadership roles in the Şeker-İş union for four terms. Following his retirement in 2015, he became active in civil society and served as the Edremit district president for the HDP. He was elected to the 28th Parliament of Turkey in 2023 and currently serves on the Committee on State Economic Enterprises.
