Mai Kivelä

Mai Kivelä is a Finnish politician, human rights activist, and feminist serving as a Member of the Parliament of Finland for the Helsinki constituency. Before her election to parliament in 2019, she held various roles in non-governmental organizations, including Greenpeace and the Service Centre for Development Cooperation (Kepa ry), and served as the general secretary of the Finnish Left Youth from 2013 to 2015. Kivelä holds a Master of Science in Environment and Development from King's College London, and her political work focuses on environmental policy, social justice, and civic participation.
