Mai Xiong is an American politician and businesswoman serving as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives since 2024, representing the 13th district. She is the first Hmong American to serve in the Michigan Legislature. Born in a refugee camp in Thailand, she moved to the United States as a child and later built a career in graphic design and apparel. Before her current role, she served on the Macomb County Board of Commissioners from 2021 to 2024, where she focused on food security and support for victims of domestic violence.
