Mai Yu-zhen

Mai Yu-zhen is a Vietnamese-born Taiwanese politician and a former member of the Legislative Yuan. Born in Vietnam in 1973, she moved to Taiwan in 1994, later attending Providence University and working as a Vietnamese-language translator. She became politically active as a founding chair of the Happy People Party and subsequently joined the Taiwan People's Party, winning a seat in the 11th Legislative Yuan in the 2024 election before concluding her term in January 2026.
