A specialist in geriatrics and gerontology, she previously held various roles in public health administration and served as a deputy in the Congress of the State of Puebla and the federal LXIV Legislature. Throughout her career, she has been affiliated with several political parties, including Nueva Alianza, Movimiento Ciudadano, and Fuerza por México, before joining the National Regeneration Movement (Morena).
