Mairéad Farrell is an Irish Sinn Féin politician who has served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Galway West constituency since 2020. Educated at NUI Galway and Queen's University Belfast, she previously served on the Galway City Council from 2014 to 2019. A member of the Sinn Féin front bench, she currently acts as the party's spokesperson on Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation, and chairs the Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation, and Taoiseach.
