Бужанский, Максим Аркадьевич

Maksym Buzhanskyi is a Ukrainian politician, writer, and publicist currently serving as a People's Deputy of Ukraine for the 9th convocation. Elected in 2019 representing the Servant of the People party, he is a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Law Enforcement. Buzhanskyi is known for his legislative work on anti-semitism prevention and voluntary military registration for women. Throughout his career, he has been a polarizing figure, frequently criticized for his views on language policy, historical memory, and his opposition to the decommunization of geographical names in Ukraine.
