Malcolm Brodie is a Canadian politician serving as the Mayor of Richmond, British Columbia, a position he has held since 2001. A lawyer by profession, he was first elected to the Richmond City Council in 1996. Initially affiliated with the Richmond Non-Partisan Association, he has served as an independent mayor since his election in a 2001 by-election. As the longest-serving mayor in the city's history, he has held numerous leadership roles in regional organizations, including the Metro Vancouver board and the Municipal Finance Authority.
