Malungo Chisangano

Malungo Chisangano is a Zambian politician currently serving as the First Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia. Elected to the National Assembly in 2016 to represent Gwembe Constituency, she has held various leadership roles, including Chairperson of the Committee on Privileges and Absences and Vice Chairperson of the House Business Committee. Before her political career, she worked extensively in project planning and community health for international organizations such as CARE International and Concern Worldwide, and served as a nutritionist for the Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines. She is a vocal advocate for women's rights and gender equality within the Zambian parliamentary system.
