Manuel Antonio Virgüez

Manuel Antonio Virgüez is a Colombian lawyer, politician, and former naval officer who serves as a Senator of Colombia. Affiliated with the Independent Movement of Absolute Renovation (MIRA) party, he previously held a senate seat from 2006 to 2014 and returned to the Senate for the 2022–2026 term, later taking on leadership as First Vice President of the Senate. Throughout his legislative career, he has focused on military service benefits, human rights, road safety, and religious freedom.
