Manuel Magno Alves is a Portuguese-Brazilian lawyer and politician currently serving as a member of the Assembly of the Republic for the Outside Europe constituency. Born in Chaves, Portugal, he emigrated to Brazil in 1955 and built a professional career in banking, real estate, and law in São Paulo. Before his election to the Portuguese parliament in 2024 representing the Chega party, he held leadership roles within the Portuguese Social Democratic Party's São Paulo section and served on various councils representing the Luso-Brazilian community. His election was notable for contributing to the defeat of the incumbent president of the Assembly of the Republic, Augusto Santos Silva.
