Mara Gabrilli is a Brazilian psychologist, advertiser, and politician serving as a Senator of Brazil representing the state of São Paulo. After becoming quadriplegic following a car crash in 1994, she dedicated her career to advocacy for people with disabilities, founding the Instituto Mara Gabrilli and serving as municipal secretary in São Paulo before being elected as a federal deputy and subsequently to the federal Senate.
