Marc Veasey

Marc Veasey is an American politician serving as a member of the United States House of Representatives for Texas's 33rd congressional district since 2013. Born in 1971 in Fort Worth, Texas, he previously served in the Texas House of Representatives from 2005 to 2013, where he held the position of chair pro tempore of the House Democratic Caucus. Throughout his career, Veasey has focused on issues such as civil rights, education, and energy policy, often advocating for Texas oil interests while maintaining a consistent voting record with the Democratic Party platform. He is a graduate of Texas Wesleyan University and worked as a substitute teacher and sportswriter before entering public office.
