Before his legislative career, Erickson worked as a psycho-social rehabilitation worker, a project coordinator for the Nevada Department of Education, and a health program manager for the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health. He also served as a prevention specialist for the East Idaho Public Health District. Erickson holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Montana State University Billings and a Master of Science in psychology from Walden University.
