Marco Oosterwijk is a Dutch politician and administrator currently serving as the Mayor of Ridderkerk since May 2023. A member of the Reformed Political Party (SGP), he previously served as a municipal councilor and faction leader in Krimpen aan den IJssel, as well as an alderman in both Krimpen aan den IJssel and Ridderkerk. Before his political career, he worked as an operations manager in the Port of Rotterdam and held leadership roles in the inland shipping industry. He is also active in various regional security and administrative boards.
