Marja van Bijsterveldt

Marja van Bijsterveldt is a Dutch politician and administrator who has served as the Mayor of Delft since 2016. A member of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA), she previously held high-level national positions, including Minister and State Secretary of Education, Culture and Science from 2007 to 2012. Her extensive career includes serving as the national chair of the CDA and as the mayor of Schipluiden. Before entering politics, she worked in the healthcare sector.
