Marcos Daniel Pineda García is a Colombian politician and business administrator currently serving as a Senator of Colombia. Born in Montería, Córdoba, he previously held the office of Mayor of Montería for two terms, from 2008 to 2011 and again from 2016 to 2019. A member of the Conservative Party, Pineda was elected to the Senate in 2022, securing the third-highest vote count within his party. He is a graduate of Sergio Arboleda University in Bogotá.
