Marcos Soares

Marcos Bezerra Ribeiro Soares is a Brazilian politician and lawyer currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies representing the state of Rio de Janeiro. The son of the missionary R. R. Soares, he previously served as a state deputy in the Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro and held a prior term in the federal Chamber of Deputies from 2015 to 2019. Throughout his legislative career, he has participated in various committees, including the Constitution and Justice and Citizenship Committee, and has been involved in significant national policy debates.
