Marek Chmielewski

Marek Jan Chmielewski is a Polish politician and local government official currently serving as a member of the Sejm for the 10th term. A food technologist by education, he graduated from the Agricultural University of Wrocław in 1986. Before his election to the national parliament in 2023, he served as the head (wójt) of the Dzierżoniów municipality for sixteen years, from 2007 to 2023. In the Sejm, he is active in several committees, including those focused on local government, regional policy, and agriculture.
