Margaret Eaton, Baroness Eaton is a British Conservative politician and life peer who has served in the House of Lords since 2010. Born in Bradford, she began her political career as a councillor for the Bradford Metropolitan Borough Council in 1986, eventually serving as its leader from 2000 to 2006. A former schoolteacher, she also held the position of Chairman of the Local Government Association from 2008 to 2011. She is a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire and remains active in various charitable and advisory roles.
