Margaret Mullane

Margaret Mullane is a British Labour Party politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Dagenham and Rainham since 2024. Before her election to Parliament, she served as a councillor for the Village ward on the Barking and Dagenham London Borough Council starting in 2010, where she held the position of Cabinet Member for Enforcement and Community Safety. A lifelong resident of Dagenham, she previously worked as an office manager for her predecessor, Jon Cruddas. Mullane is a member of the Home Affairs Select Committee and has been noted for her advocacy on local community safety and housing issues.
