A member of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), she has held the position of club chair in the state parliament since 2024 and has served as the mayor of Oftering since 2021. Before entering full-time politics, she worked as a master tailor and founded her own bespoke dressmaking business in 2001. She has also been active in the 'Women in Business' (FiW) network, serving as its state chair for Upper Austria.
