Mari Leavitt

Mari Leavitt is an American politician serving as a member of the Washington House of Representatives for the 28th legislative district. First elected in 2018, she has focused her legislative work on clean energy initiatives and public safety reform, including supporting legislation to restrict certain police tactics and equipment. Prior to her tenure in the state legislature, she served as the chair of the Pierce County Ethics Commission. Leavitt holds a PhD in Community College Leadership from Oregon State University.
