Maria Domenica Castellone

Maria Domenica Castellone is an Italian politician and medical researcher serving as a Vice President of the Senate of the Republic since 2022. A member of the Five Star Movement, she was first elected to the Senate in 2018 and previously served as the party's parliamentary group leader. Before entering politics, she had a distinguished career in oncology and molecular endocrinology, including research at the National Institutes of Health in the United States.
