Marie-Arlette Carlotti

Marie-Arlette Carlotti is a French politician currently serving as a member of the French Senate for the Bouches-du-Rhône department, where she became the first woman to hold the position of questeur in 2023. A long-time member of the Socialist Party, she previously served as a Member of the European Parliament, a deputy in the National Assembly, and as the Minister Delegate for Disabled Persons and the Fight against Exclusion under the Ayrault government. Throughout her career, she has focused on social inclusion, disability rights, and regional governance in Marseille.
