Marie McNair is a Scottish politician serving as the Member of the Scottish Parliament for Clydebank and Milngavie since 2021. Before entering politics, she worked as a nurse for 14 years at St Margaret of Scotland Hospice. McNair began her political career as a Labour Party councillor in 2003, later serving as an independent councillor before joining the Scottish National Party in 2016. She is a supporter of Scottish independence and was re-elected to the Scottish Parliament in 2026.
