Marija Lugarić

Marija Lugarić is a Croatian politician representing the Social Democratic Party of Croatia (SDP). Born on June 5, 1978, in Zagreb, she graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Zagreb, specializing in pedagogical sciences as a primary school teacher. She has a long-standing parliamentary career, having served across multiple terms in the Croatian Parliament starting with her election in the 2000 election, and currently holds the position of Chairperson of the Gender Equality Committee in the 11th parliamentary term while focusing on education policy legislation.
