A graduate of the University of Split, she previously worked in the informatics and banking sectors. Puljak entered politics through local activism in the Žnjan district of Split, eventually founding the liberal party Pametno, which later merged to form the Centre party. She is known for her focus on urban development and civic engagement, having served as a local district president and as a candidate for Mayor of Split.
