Mario Eduardo Ortega

Mario Eduardo Ortega is a Filipino politician currently serving as the Governor of the Province of La Union, a position he assumed in 2025. Prior to his election as governor, he served two terms as the Vice Governor of La Union, holding the office from 2019 to 2022 and again from 2022 to 2025. In the 2025 Philippine gubernatorial elections, he successfully campaigned for the governorship, defeating the incumbent Raphaelle Ortega-David. He continues to be a prominent figure in the political landscape of the La Union province.
