Marit Stiles

Marit Stiles is a Canadian politician serving as the leader of the Ontario New Democratic Party and the leader of the Official Opposition in Ontario. First elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in 2018 representing Davenport, she previously served as a Toronto District School Board trustee and as president of the federal New Democratic Party. Her political platform emphasizes climate action through sustainable industry investment, labor rights, public education, and healthcare reform. Before entering provincial politics, she worked as a policy researcher and director for the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA).
