Chandra Pasma

Chandra Pasma is a Canadian politician serving as the Member of Provincial Parliament for Ottawa West—Nepean since 2022. Before her election, she worked as a public policy researcher for the Canadian Union of Public Employees and as an advisor to the federal New Democratic Party. In the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, she has served as the Official Opposition critic for poverty and homelessness reduction and later as the education critic. Her political work focuses on healthcare access, housing affordability, and improving public infrastructure, including school safety and air quality.
