Mark Downey is an American politician and physician serving as a member of the Virginia House of Delegates for the 69th District. A member of the Democratic Party, he was elected in 2025 after defeating incumbent Republican Chad Green. Outside of his legislative duties, Downey continues to work as a pediatrician with the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters in the Williamsburg area. He is noted for being the only medical doctor currently serving in the Virginia General Assembly.
