Mark Folkard

Mark James Folkard is an Australian politician who has served as a member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly since 2017. Representing the district of Burns Beach, which was renamed Mindarie in 2025, he is a member of the Labor Party. Before entering politics, Folkard had a distinguished career as a Western Australia Police Sergeant. He has been recognized for his service with numerous honors, including the Police Overseas Service Medal with East Timor clasp, the National Police Service Medal, and the United Nations Medal.
