Mark Jonathan Hooper is a Welsh politician and businessman serving as a Member of the Senedd for the Pen-y-bont Bro Morgannwg constituency since 2026. Prior to his election to the Senedd, he served as a councillor for the Baruc ward on the Vale of Glamorgan Council and previously for the Buttrills ward on Barry Town Council. A founder of the coworking company IndyCube, Hooper has been active in community-focused economic projects, including the development of a proposed community bank for Wales. He also worked as a special advisor to the Welsh Government between 2023 and 2024 and currently serves as a Business Development Manager for Community Energy Wales.
