Mark Sutcliffe

Mark Sutcliffe is a Canadian politician serving as the 59th mayor of Ottawa since 2022. Before entering politics, he was a prominent radio host, journalist, and entrepreneur who founded the Ottawa Business Journal. Described as a centrist, Sutcliffe has focused his administration on fiscal responsibility, housing development, and public safety. His tenure has been marked by efforts to increase housing supply, manage municipal budgets with a focus on affordability, and expand infrastructure and transit services.
